Biography
Lorie Ailor, MS, OTR, serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Lutheran Hospital and The Orthopedic Hospital. Lorie is in her 10th year as CEO for The Orthopedic Hospital and was recently named the CEO of Lutheran Hospital in July 2024. She has been part of the Lutheran Health Network for 26 years.
Lorie began her healthcare career as an Occupational Therapist 34 years ago. Lorie has served in various progressive leadership roles throughout her career. Her tremendous leadership skills, fiscal acumen and collaborative nature have proven successful with both physicians and team members while maintaining a steadfast commitment to the best quality patient care.
Lorie holds a Bachelor of Science, and Master of Science, from the University of Indianapolis, Indianapolis, IN. She serves on several non-profit boards including the Downtown Improvement District, Mad Anthony's Foundation, Hope’s Harbor, Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodon Athletics, Trine University, and Huntington University.
Lorie and her husband, Scott, have been married 34 years and live in Fort Wayne. They have one daughter, Caitlyn, who has a doctorate degree in physical therapy and practices in Fort Wayne.
