Biography

Cara Walker is a Lecturer at Indiana University School of Nursing-Fort Wayne as well as the Executive Director of the IUFW Lafayette Street Family Health Clinic since 2018. She received her BSN from the University of Indianapolis in 2007 and began working at IU Health in critical care.

In addition to patient care, she also assisted with quality improvement and unit operations as a Shift Coordinator. In 2012, Walker received her MSN as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Indianapolis. She has worked as a nurse practitioner in both private and public health settings. She previously taught in an ASN program for three and a half years before coming to IU Fort Wayne.
