Biography
Jamee is Executive Director of Isaac Knapp District Dental Society and Dental Education Foundation. As a recipient of Questa’s Contemporary Scholars Program, she was able to complete her degree in Business Administration from Huntington University in 2021. Her previous career experience has mostly been for nonprofits in various roles with a local church, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne, and the American Red Cross.
While she does not have a dental background, her impact with Isaac Knapp District Dental Society has led her towards several opportunities within the dental community. In 2020, Jamee was awarded the Peer Recognition for Outstanding Leadership & Innovation by the American Dental Society. She serves as Vice President of the Association for Component Society Executives of the American Dental Association and was recently appointed to serve a two-year term as a member of the American Dental Association’s Strategic Forecasting Committee’s Tripartite Action Group. Locally, she has served on McMillen Health’s Brush Program Advisory Committee.
Her love for her community is shown by her volunteer involvement in many groups. She co-leads Fort Wayne’s Policy Circle and sits on the Indiana State Leadership Council of The Policy Circle, which informs, equips, and connects women to be more impactful citizens through civil discussions on Policy Briefs that frames issues, provide historical context, explore avenues for reform and encourage local civic engagement. She currently is serving as President of Southwest Allen County Schools Education Foundation board and sits on several nonprofit committees in our community.
Jamee and her husband, Adam, reside in Fort Wayne where they enjoy raising their four children, two dogs, and a cat.
