Biography

Retiring at the end of 2023, Jean’s career included more than 30 years of experience in the financial and banking sectors.  She began her career at Lincoln Financial Group in the commercial real estate division and later worked in Vice President roles at Grabill Bank, Centier Bank, and also at Star Financial as a specialist in commercial lending.  In addition, Jean went to work for Purdue University Fort Wayne for three years to use her love for relationships with business leaders in Fort Wayne as a Director of Development and Major Gifts.  Jean holds an undergraduate degree from Indiana University.  She served in board roles for several community organizations, including East Wayne Street Center, Community Action of NE Indiana (currently Brightpoint), and LPGA Amateurs Golf Association of Fort Wayne.  Jean enjoys working with various organizations, including the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, the Parkview Foundation Golf Classic, and the Vera Bradley Classic for Breast Cancer, to mention a few. 

Jean enjoys her work with the IUFW Community Advisory Board, as it aligns with her love for Indiana University and also for Fort Wayne.
