Biography
Joe Jordan is a lifetime resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Currently he is employed with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne as the President & CEO. Joe has over 30 years of experience at the executive level of organizational management, working in community organizations whose primary focus is youth and family development. Joe received his degree in Business Management from Indiana Institute of Technology and he earned his Master’s Degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Joe's specialty is creating and implementing new and exciting programs that will help enhance the opportunities for the youth to reach their full potential. He feels that by getting the membership involved in new programs and initiatives that put them in a better position to improve their quality of life make it all worthwhile. Joe serves on a number boards at the local and state level.
Joe stated, "I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to work for such an awesome organization and be a part of this tremendous national movement. I am excited because of the relevance and the impact we are having on thousands of lives. Each day we walk through the doors of the Club, we have an opportunity to impact a life." The author, D. L. "The Boys and Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne is very significant in the development of youth, and that gives me the opportunity to be significant."
Just recently, Joe was named the “CEO of the year” in the State of Indiana for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America; and the Midwest Region “CEO of the year” for Midwest Region for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Joe was also named as the Business Excellence’s CEO of the Year. Joe also was the named to the highest award any Boys & Girls Clubs’ Professional can receive, the Heart & Soul Award in 2019. In 2020, was the recipient of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Heart & Spirit Award. The Heart & Spirit Award is the highest awarded to a Boys & Girls Clubs’ professional.
