Biography

Patti Hays is CEO of AWS Foundation. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, she attended West Virginia Wesleyan College for her BSN and later Louisiana State University for her Masters in Nursing. Over the years she has had progressive positions in Nursing Education, Nursing and Hospital Administrative roles in West Virginia, South Carolina, and Louisiana before moving to Fort Wayne. She is active in the community having served on multiple NFP boards. She is currently on the boards of Stillwater Hospice, Greater Fort Wayne, Inc, and the Executive Council of Allen County Department of Health. In 2017, along with three others, she was co-founder of Advancing Voices of Women and together they were named Citizens of the Year by the Journal Gazette in 2019. Patti is married to Peter Hanley. They are parents to three and grandparents to seven.
