Biography
Dr. Wayne D. Walker is a general dentist. His dental practice was established in 1987. A graduate of the University Of Illinois School Of Dentistry he received his DDS degree in 1985.
Dr. Walker appreciates his profession and is very involved in organized dentistry. He maintains memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA) and the National Dental Association (NDA). He served as President of the Isaac Knapp District Dental Association 2009-2010. He was the first African-American to serve in that position.
His membership in the NDA has given him numerous leadership positions. He is the President of the Indiana Dental Association, the state chapter of the NDA. He was elected Speaker of the House of Delegates in 2014 and served in that position until 2020. He is also a founding member of the African American Healthcare Alliance (AAHA).
Promoting oral health has always been a priority of Dr. Walker. He continues to volunteer his time at Health Fairs and Matthew 25. He relaxes by spending time with family, watching sports and playing golf.
He is truly dedicated to his community and the patients he serves.
