Indiana University Fort Wayne has announced the hiring of Spencer Haber as Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement and Events, effective immediately. 

In his new role, Haber will help lead IU Fort Wayne’s key initiatives focused on growing alumni engagement in Northeast Indiana. He will also plan and oversee a number of regular and ad hoc alumni-focused events throughout the year.Building and strengthening relationships with alumni was one of several key opportunities identified in IU Fort Wayne Forward, a strategic report built out an extensive listening tour conducted by Dr. Deborah Garrison, Inaugural Vice Chancellor and Dean of IU Fort Wayne.

Haber brings 12-plus years of experience in marketing, event management and stakeholder engagement to the Indiana University Fort Wayne team. Most recently, he served as a key member of the event management team at Kruse Plaza in Auburn. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2017 from Grand Canyon University in Business Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies.
