IU Fort Wayne announces spring enrollment

With a new academic semester underway, Indiana University Fort Wayne continues to strengthen and amplify its mission of developing the next generation of health professionals. The university announces growing enrollment numbers for the Spring 2024 semester, with a total undergraduate enrollment of 879 students – a 1.5% increase from the previous spring.

Established in 2018, IU Fort Wayne has a singular mission to educate and develop highly qualified health professionals for high-demand roles through exceptional and inclusive educational opportunities, as well as an organizational focus on health equity. In addition to health equity, IU Fort Wayne leaders continue an intentional effort around diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in student enrollment and retention – including the recent hiring of Dr. Dawn Moore, an experienced higher education leader, as a DEI education consultant. For the spring semester, IU Fort Wayne students of color make up 33.1% of the student population, a 13.3% increase from the previous academic year.
