The IU Trustees Teaching Award honors individuals who have a positive impact on learning through the direct teaching of students, especially undergraduates. Award recipients must have demonstrated a sustained level of teaching excellence in the form of documented student learning and must have completed at least three years of service at IU Fort Wayne.

This award honors an adjunct faculty member who goes above and beyond in their teaching, student support, and dedication and impact. The recipient should demonstrate excellence in instruction, student support, and making a positive, meaningful impact on students and colleagues.

This award honors a full-time faculty member who demonstrates outstanding commitment to service at the department-, campus-, community-, and/or professional-levels, excluding administrative service. The recipient should demonstrate active, ongoing, and meaningful contributions through their service initiatives that align with institutional goals.

This award honors a full-time faculty member who demonstrates outstanding commitment to student success through innovative teaching methods and student engagement. The recipient should demonstrate excellence in instruction, a strong ability to engage students, and a positive, meaningful impact on student success.
