Bengela Bada, M.H.A., B.S.D.H., LDH, received her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, specializing in dental education, at Indiana Purdue University Fort Wayne. She earned her master’s degree in healthcare administration from Union College of Barbourville Kentucky.
Bada is an Indiana University (IPFW) alumna who is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Indiana University Fort Wayne, Department of Biomedical Sciences and Comprehensive Care. Preceding this role, she was a Clinical Dental Hygiene Instructor at Indiana University Fort Wayne for several years. She has many years of experience working in private practice as a licensed dental hygienist and in dental education. Establishing and incorporating periodontal therapy programs within private practice, interprofessional collaboration, educating future dental hygienists, and increasing access to care are a few of her passions.
