Indiana University Fort Wayne announces a series of listening sessions led by Vice Chancellor and Dean Dr. Deborah Garrison, who began her tenure on July 1. Alumni are encouraged to participate in the sessions, which will be offered virtually and in-person.
Garrison said, “Through these listening sessions, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of IU Fort Wayne’s place in the community and region as we prioritize a plan to raise our profile and advance our mission. My goal is to hear from more than 250 students, faculty, staff, alumni and partners in the coming weeks.” Results from these focus groups will also help inform the Fort Wayne campus’ approach to the IU 2030 strategic plan, announced by President Whitten earlier this fall.
In-person listening sessions will be held on campus at IU Fort Wayne in Neff Hall ACE Place (Room 146). Sessions will be held through Nov. 7. If participation in a virtual or in-person listening session is not possible, alumni and other stakeholders are encouraged to complete an online survey. Details on the listening sessions and the online survey link can be found on IU Fort Wayne’s website.
