The IU Fort Wayne community has access to numerous programming, events, outreach, and advocacy through our campus partner, Purdue Fort Wayne. Take advantage of the resources these offices and centers provide.
Each year, we invite the entire campus and the Fort Wayne community to participate in these events to increase awareness and understanding.
In celebration of the histories and contributions of historically marginalized, IU Fort Wayne celebrates heritage months and identity acknowledgments throughout the year. These recognitions allow all community members to learn more about traditions, people, and history.

We celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month to recognize the achievements and contributions of Hispanic/Latine Americans.

At IU Fort Wayne, LGBTQ+ History Month focuses on the celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and achievements throughout history.

Throughout the month of November, we celebrate the work and cultures of Native and Indigenous communities. Native American Heritage Month brings the contemporary Native experience to the forefront of people’s minds.
