Biography

While I was in high school and college, I completed multiple internships in the dental field. I volunteered as a Dental Assistant and translator on a dental mission trip to Guatemala in 2008. I worked as a Dental Assistant while on summer break during 2008 and 2009. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Hanover College in 2010. I graduated from the Indiana University Fort Wayne (IUFW) Dental Technology Program in May of 2012. After graduation, I worked as a Lab Technician and Lab Manager at a lab within a privately-owned dental practice. In 2013 and 2014, I worked part-time as a Laboratory Assistant in the Dental Technology Program at IUFW. I earned my Certified Dental Technician (CDT) designation, specializing in Complete Dentures in 2017. I have enjoyed working with patients over the last eleven years, while customizing complete and partial dentures to meet their individual needs. In August of 2023, I joined the Dental Technology Faculty at IUFW. I am looking forward to teaching students about orthodontic appliances, dental lab business procedures, complete dentures, dental anatomy, and dental materials.
