The Indiana University Fort Wayne Department of Health Sciences invites community members to attend Women’s Wellbeing 2023, its first women’s health symposium, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Friday, October 13.
Free and open to the public, Women’s Wellbeing has been designed and developed by women with the goal of inspiring women to live well, educating and empowering them to manage their wellness, and encouraging and uplifting those who may be struggling with health concerns.
The symposium will feature expert-led breakout sessions covering a wide range of topics, including heart health, body image, diabetes prevention and management, financial wellness and mental health. Sarah Brady, a nurse practitioner with Parkview Health, will deliver the keynote address on breast health, and Francine’s Friends will have its mobile mammography unit on site from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
